Superb cottage & Great location
What a fabulous weekend we had staying in this beautiful Shropshire cottage for a family get together.
On arrival, we had a private car parking area, more than enough for our 3 vehicles, and were greeted by the sound of singing birds.
In the cottage, there is a lovely feel, very clean throughout and a good sized kitchen area with the dining table allowing a good social experience to start our weekend off.
The owners have drinking facilities including help yourself ground coffee machine (and instructions how to use if needed)
The living area had a pre-organised wood burner – just needing a match to get it going and plenty of spare wood outside. This warmed upstairs a treat so when it was bed time, the rooms were nice and snug.
The bathroom was excellent with a double shower as well as lovely sized bedrooms with a nice new spongy carpet to walk on.
The rural location provides the privacy wanted but was not far from the local village or within a short driving distance of the lovely towns of Wem, Whitchurch, along with Shrewsbury and Chester being easy to reach. Plenty of walking places to go as well so really does have a great location for all.
Throughout our pre-stay, we found Colin incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with helping with some initial enquiries.
We will definitely stay again and thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage.
